Dr. LeSon has over 30 years of experience in private practice in Garden Grove, California. He specializes in allergy, asthma, sinusitis, rhinology, clinical laboratory immunology, and general internal medicine in both adults and children. He has a bioengineering degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and two graduate degrees in public health from the University of Illinois School of Public Health: an MPH in Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences and an MSPH in Environmental Epidemiology and Statistics. He was invited to join a prestigious consultant team developing an artificial heart valve. He later pursued training in internal medicine, allergy and clinical immunology, and clinical laboratory immunology. His research on secondhand smoke and asthma mortality risk factors has received widespread attention.
Dr. LeSon has extensive experience in obstetrics and gynecology, occupational medicine, emergency medicine, and urgent care medicine over the years. During the summer, he made solo wilderness treks and taught wilderness survival, first aid, and emergency care. He educated his children at home, allowing them to attend elite universities while personalizing their education to their unique interests and abilities. He won a state championship and went on to become a dual-certified coach. He still supports the Boy Scouts of America. His life’s focus was education.
